These are some of my paintings from summer 2002 in the South Island of
New Zealand.
Mt Nimrod and the hills behind Timaru. SOLD
The headwaters of the Havelock River and Sceptre Peak on the left. SOLD
I painted this one on arriving in Naseby in the early morning looking east toward the Kakanui Range
St Bathans and the Vulcan pub at the bottom, one of the hottest and coldest places in New Zealand.
Mt St Bathans is just showing in the distance at 2088 m SOLD
The Forbes Valley and Mt D'Archiac with Twilight Col to the left. The Forbes joins the Havelock river which in turn joins the Clyde and becomes the Rangitata River.
