OKAHA WHARF, ANAKOHA BAY

I liked  the way these two trees framed the wharf in this view across the bay to the neighbours woolshed.

In days bygone the mailboat would visit the wharfs of all the Sounds properties to deliver mail, correspondence sets, visiting friends and all matter of sundries.

The wharf along with the boats that visited were the connection to the outside world. Now everyone drives to town!
