North From Mt Peel Station

The Rangitata River and it's terraces make the centre piece for this painting with a backdrop of The Old Man Range, Mt Somers and Mt Hutt to the right.

I painted this after climbing up from the river flats  on Peel Forest Station, owned by the Acland family.
