A good friend, Bernadette and I spent a great day walking up on this headland and surrounding area which is just out to the coast from Cheviot.
In the afternoon I settled on painting the limestone headland as the shadows grew longer and threw it into relief.
The beach is strewn about with huge boulders from the erroding cliff. They lie like white whales, bleached by the sea, against the dark sand.
