Mt Cook, Aoraki
I painted this from below the Braemar Station homestead which is on the Eastern shores of Lake Pukaki. It is this turquoise colour from the glacial waters of the Tasman and Murchison Glaciers.
Mt Cook is New Zealands highest Peak at 3764 meters.
