Mt Hopkins and the Dobson Valley

This was one of those still clear winter days after a  frost with the sound of the snow water trickling and the Hereford cows munching.

Mt Hopkins, 2682m stands at  the head of Hopkins and  Dobson Valley, part of Glen Lyon Station above Lake Ohau.

If you climb the snow saddle in the centre you come onto the Mueller Glacier and can follow this down to the  Hermitage
