FINGERS OF GOD RAKAIA VALLEY

When the Nor' west wind blows it brings clouds and rain spilling over the main divide and into the headwaters of the Rakaia River.

I was standing atop a bluff over looking the river with a jet stream of wind coming vertically up the cliff with just enough calm behind it to get this one done.

Mt Oakden on the right and Double Hill just visible in the distant valley on the left.
