This is the view from above the Potts River looking into the Havelock Valley with Mt D'Archiac 2865m on the left and McClure Peak in the distant right. The Clyde River comes in from the right and conflues with the Havelock making the Rangitata River.
Mt Sunday, the site of Edoras Village, in the film "Lord of The Rings", is in the mid right of the painting.
