Clyde Valley, Jumped Up Downs, and Rangitata River

I painted this late in the afternoon when the shadows grow deep and long.

The Havelock River disappears to the left, the Clyde Valley in the center left and the Jumped up Downs are the jumbled brown hills which are rocky outcrops remaining after the glaciers melted away. Erewhon Station homestead is just at the right of the painting.
